| This 4* hotel is seeking qualified and experienced Housekeeping Manager to manage and oversee the department. |
| Applicants must have a formal Hospitality Management Diploma + minimum 2 years experience in a Housekeeping Supervisors capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with the groups standards. Duties will include staffing, scheduling, training and developing staff. Managing the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, seating areas, washrooms, restaurants, rooms and all public spaces. Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct. Applicants MUST be PC literate (word processing, spread sheets) and have a valid drivers license and own vehicle. |

Must ensure that all guests’ rooms are checked for cleanliness on a daily basis by using check lists, ensure that inspected rooms are recorded on the computer before going home, ensure that stipulated guest services are being provided and that guests requests are being carried out, ensure register is marked every morning, ensure when doing allocation at 6am in the morning, traces are checked and room moves, ensure all maintenance is recorded in the maintenance book, assist with monthly stock take, ensure sleep out book is signed in and out, ensure dry cleaning is recorded and the slips taken to reception, ensure enough guest supplies are placed in the rooms as per standard / room type and ensure soiled linen goes back to laundry before check in
